Teamworks Founder and President, Kristin Skarie is an international speaker, educator and entrepreneur with twenty-five years experience in crafting distinctive, relevant and grounded team and leader development programs for college, corporate and community organizations. Her background includes higher education administration and organization development in healthcare management. In addition to working with hundreds of universities, hospitals, and companies, Kristin presents regularly at state and national conferences for a wide variety of audiences. She is also a Facilitator for the LeaderShape Institute to engage college students in creating a just, caring, thriving world. Kristin is on the Board of Trustees for the American College Personnel Association Foundation and deeply invested in the success of the College Student Personnel Association of New York State. She is a contributing author to the book, “Lessons from the Road: Inspirational Insights from Leading Speakers in Education” for which a portion of her proceeds benefit Jumpstart, a national literacy initiative. Her new book, “Nothing New: 365 Days of Living with Less” is due out in March, 2012. Kristin is a Pencil Partner with the Rochester City School District and is an active volunteer with Flower City Habitat and the Kiwanis Club of Brighton. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin and her Master’s of Science in Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University.
