Greetings from Teamworks Managing Director, Kristin Skarie...

Hello! I hope you are having a great semester so far. I am so excited about the latest happenings here at Teamworks, please read on...

Collaboration at Rivers Run

The collaboration of higher education and developers of senior living is an exciting trend in the development of Senior Living Communities. Teamworks is partnering with the Rochester Institute of Technology, Christa Construction and Living Communities on this new project! Rivers Run will be a vibrant living community for active adults who are looking to be involved in cultural, intellectual and social engagement through RIT and cooperating organizations. Kristin Skarie is facilitating the Rivers Run Advisory Committee made up of RIT representatives with a vested interest in the creation of innovative programs to benefit Rivers Run Community Members and RIT Students. For more information contact Living Communities on 585.624.7650.

Corporate Training at NSTAR

We just did a great team building program for over 90 leaders in the Customer Care organization of NSTAR. NSTAR is a utility company headquartered in Boston, with a mission of serving its 1.4 million customers well. Seven Teamworks facilitators led small mixed groups of leaders through a progression of engaging, relevant and fun group problem solving activities addressing communication, ownership and team time management. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive - here's a sample: "I had a few aha’s about listening to directions, thinking outside the box, listening to and learning from others, respecting diverse views, stopping and reworking a plan, being specific with communications, and being active and involved." We thank NSTAR for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated and energized company that believes in exceeding the expectations of their customers internally and externally.
